I am playing for Swardeston Cricket Club, which is situated just South of Norwich, England.

It is a lovely little town and all the people are very friendly and were welcoming to me when I arrived.

As for the guys at the club, they are a great bunch of guys and have a good sense of humour, similar to back at Wanderers. They made me feel at home straight away and this helped me settle in a bit quicker. All the teams head back to the home ground (The Common) after games and have dinner and a few drinks, with pool and darts being played throughout.

On the field we started off well, both as a team and personally with a win and myself getting 94 not out. Unfortunately results have dropped drastically and we have lost 4 games on the bounce with myself averagingin the mid 30’s.

Currently I am under the target I set for myself at the beginning of the season but I believe that I will still achieve my goal of 800 runs for the season. We will hopefully turn this around and start getting a few wins under our belts.

Our first team is on top of the league and are now in the semi finals of the Carter Cup, in which I made my debut on Sunday.

Off the field I am doing gardening everyday as well as sometimes doing 1 to 1 lessons with the juniors. I also assist with junior training on Tuesday evenings.

Our season ends on the 30th of August.
