Despite losing many games to rain, the team were able to win when it mattered most. Congratulations go to the captain Kirstie Thomson, her able deputy Jaclyn Kapp (when Kirstie was away on Provincial duty), coach Graham McMillan, manager Maddy Wolmarans and all the players. Special mention goes Marlene Grieb, who finished as the leading run scorer in the league, scoring two centuries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Wanderers is the only club with two women\u2019s teams playing in the Lions Cricket Board leagues, the second XI coming third in the President\u2019s league.
